Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of several awards that include the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was elected to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara was a renowned actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an Improvisational comedy troupe based out of Toronto. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
